CAMPUS MINISTRY

Who We Are

Chi Alpha meets EVERY WEDNESDAY night at 9pm until about 10:45pm
at the Rogal Chapel on Robert Morris University's campus.

At a Wednesday night service you can typically expect
– 15 minutes of announcements/icebreakers
– 30 minutes of worship in music
– 20 minutes of a speaker talking about God’s word

Various nights we extend worship, have small group stations, or special parties throughout the year.

WHAT KIND OF NAME IS CHI ALPHA?
It’s all Greek to us – literally. The Greek letters Chi (x) and Alpha (a) are the initials of a phrase written by the Apostle Paul in the Bible. Translated it means “Christ’s sent ones.” The name is a reminder that we should live to reflect Jesus.

WHERE DID IT ALL START?
XA started in 1954 by J. Ashcroft in Springfield, MO. We are affiliated with The Assemblies of God. There are chapters around the country and the world. We are part of something big! Check out www.chialpha.com to see more.
