Genesis Kids
Genesis Nursery - Beginnings

Genesis, of course, means ‘beginning’, and our nursery offers an environment for just that. Your child will begin to know of God’s love and tender care in a nurturing and pleasant atmosphere. Through simple stories, songs, and interactive play, the precious seed of the Good News will be planted in the heart of your child. Safety and security, too are important to us, so the delivery to and from our children’s rooms are carefully monitored. We also offer a discreet paging system so that you can be alerted when it is clear no one else will do but you. We’d love to have your child part of ‘Beginnings’ to begin the glad growth in God into a healthy, happy faith in Jesus.  – Rhonda, Christina, and Susie, Nursery Coordinators

Genesis Kids

On Sunday mornings, Pastor Randy and the Children’s Ministries Team have a special service for the children. This time is designed to be similar to the adult service but on a child’s level. Kids are encouraged to participate in corporate worship, prayer, and hearing the Word of God. These elements are reinforced with puppets, games and other interactive activities. Toward the end of the service, the group is split into two, where kids receive age–appropriate teaching. Our desire is to produce an environment where kids can grow in the knowledge and presence of their Creator.

Genesis Kids - Wednesday Night Service @ 6:30pm

On Wednesday nights, Genesis Kids meets at the church for a mid-week service. The setting is a great opportunity for personal interaction. Students and teachers play games before and after the service. We strive to make this service interactive and kid–friendly by giving them the opportunity to lead worship, act out the story, and read verses. Every evening is interlaced with video clips, games, and memory activities. We are currently going through a series that teaches how to biblically deal with everyday problems. Kids often deal with things like fear, anger, loneliness, and stress, and they need to know that God cares and has provided the knowledge and power to overcome.
